Eliška Konečná

Trained as a painter in Prague, with work in the National Gallery, Prague.

Eliška Konečná was born in the Czech Republic in 1992 and trained as a painter. She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague from 2014 to 2020. In 2018 she also studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Her work is made from embroidery, cotton and a wooden frame.

In No Petal Left to Pluck, from 2025, entwined limbs and open hands rise in soft stitched contours. Her work is in the National Gallery in Prague and in collections in Prague, Berlin, Milan and Wrocław. Polansky Gallery in Prague represents her and showed her solo exhibition Thirst in 2023.
